Ravin, a Senior team leader poses for the camera. The SCIP environment, though industrious, can be goofy sometimes too.
The Corporate world is presumed to be a whirlwind of loose papers, impossible deadlines, and young interns scurrying to complete the wishes of their superiors, with emphasis on the simple objective of meeting their deadlines, interns are stereotyped as machines.
However, this is most certainly not the case at the Selective Corporate Internship Program. Yes, young leaders are required to meet project deadlines and maintain proper business etiquette, but they are also encouraged to network and interact with their peers. In addition to tough projects, young leaders take part in athletics such as golf and tennis at least once per week. SCIP's goal is not only to create future business leaders, but also some future Rafael Nadal's, Serena Williams' and Tom Watsons'! All jokes aside, SCIP profoundly believes that the most efficient people are those who genuinely enjoy their job. Dale Carnegie once said, "People rarely succeed unless they have fun in what they are doing." Thanks Dale, the SCIP family will definitely use your advice!!
